About the Play
Mitr, adapted from the original Marathi play by Dr. Shirish Athavale, aptly manifests that old age and illness is never the end of the road. The spirit is always young and there is life beyond old age angst. Irrespective of religion or caste, the joys and sorrows of human beings are similar and friendship can be found anywhere.
